SAVE IT • TRY IT
We didn't do this this because the baby was not already in an “ideal” position or breech, we did it to help provide the space & reduced tension within the uterus so that babe can maintain a more optimal position.
These are from Spinning Babies & I do recommend taking a class to really learn & understand how to best execute the movements!
Here are the three we focused on👇
1️⃣ Side Lying Hip Release
Hips stacked as top leg lifts & gently hangs. Pressure down on top portion of pelvis (right under hip bones). Hold for 10 slow breaths, completely relaxing body
2️⃣ Belly Lift & Sift
Gently lift belly to preference. Slowly alternate arms in circular motion. Speed dependent on preference. Breathe & allow belly to be supported for about 2 minutes. SLOWLY let belly down.
3️⃣ Forward Inversion
Hips as over shoulders as you can get. Relax belly, relax legs, & BREATHE 3-5x. It’s tough on the shoulders at first, so only perform if you feel strong & supported enough.
Have you seen or tried these before?!
