How Strong is Your Back?! Low Back Endurance Test. #lowbackpain

How long can you hold?!?
It’s actually pretty tough 😅

Now, let me start by saying, there are definitely flaws to this test called the “Sorensen Test” and it will NOT be the only predictor in the absence of low back pain Specifically because low back pain, or pain in general, is so complex, it cannot be boiled down to just ONE movement test.

And HELLO… it’s only tested on males 🙄
So, ladies, can you please test & prove you got this!?
(It is tough but YOU GOT THIS!!)

HOWEVER, what this CAN show is just how strong & robust your low back is, hopefully because you’re taking time to move your body and get strong versus remaining sedentary or avoiding some form of strength training.

In general, we’re going to help avoid pain (or have tools to move through it quicker) if we don’t fear lifting, bending and picking up heavy things like weights!
