There is constant chatter about “which EMR is the best”, “what ERM do you use — and do you like it?”, and “what EMR should I use?” No PT-specific EMR has all the answers, and every EMR has pros and cons that make it seem like they’re all equally average and stuck 5-10 years behind current technology. PromptEMR shows us that there are new EMRs in development that, built on better platforms, can become the ideal EMRs we desire. Based on their patient-based perspective, PromptEMR was initially built to provider better communication with patients during their therapy episodes. Since then, it is striving to bring the rest of the business cycle and PT clinic employee tasks into the ‘20s, making everyday tasks and reports easy to perform and access.
