I Need More Balance (Part 3)

I Need More Balance (Part 3)

"I Need More Balance."

You are probably the achiever, the business owner, the leader, the quick starter, dare I say workaholic? You're a busy body and the answer is doing "more."

What have you accomplished in your career, relationships, or health?

Maybe you have x, Maybe you have x, or x, or even x.

Have you ever found yourself stuck?

Maybe you are:
   Burnout at work
Overwhelmed with too many hours at work?
Frustrated with the stalled progress with your relationships?

I've been there several times and I've actually revisited this "place" a few times in the past.

I'm sure that there are a ton of recipes for this, but I've found that the answer is actually NOT doing more. It's doing something DIFFERENT.

But different is hard. Yeah I know. But I had to learn the hard way that working longer hours, digging deeper, griping tighter, and trying to do more and more with less were not going to solve my problem.

You see, the people that I admire are the ones that:
- Can be ambitious AND be patient.
- Can do more AND work less
- Can win at work AND find fulfillment at home
- Can create and grow AND appreciate the present moment

My wife is the person who helped me ultimatly understand this. That there are actually two sides of each coin and that they are BOTH superpowers. She teaches me everyday how to:
- Be more patient.
- Listen more
- Love and care more
- To give more.

If you are the achiever, the quick starter, or the go getter, then I encourage you to find members on your team who are really good at what you suck at. Surround yourself with people who can help you slow down, smell the roses, and actually enjoy the process. Maybe a Clinical Director with these skills is exactly what you need to escape the "rat race" of owning a private practice?

If you'd like to learn more about how implementing strategies like these will actually help you:
- Earn more
- Find more free time with your family
- Get your health and free time back
