The patient/PT I'm demoing on has a history of frozen shoulder. At time of evaluation, it was moderately limited in elevation with a hard end feel and he also was limited in ipsilateral trunk rotation. After 4 deep breaths with L ribs held stabilized to limit expansion - which increases R rib expansion, his trunk rotation was normal and also shoulder mobility increased. Now he will be able to load up trunk rotation and overhead mobility with overhead carries, one of my favorite shoulder stability/strength exercises. Hope this helps!
