How many times have you heard you shouldn't "overload" or even "load" the facets? As if any single facet takes the entire weight or portion of the weight of the body. Look at the great toe, it can handle body weight while running and jumping. The example I use as to why extension doesn't "feel as good" as flexion can be likened to the elbows.

🔵imagine if you not only flexed your elbows thousands of times a day, but in between, you kept them flexed and never fully extended them
🔵how would your elbows feel by the end of the day
