While repeated end range loading is great for easier lumbar cases that centralize in the sagittal plane, there are more sensitive cases that require NWB techniques. A great position of relief is a modified hips offset "roadkill" with the involved LE abducted, and knee flexed - like how a frog swims. You can start with this position in prone and then apply overpressure to further load the involved side. This often works for highly irritable or very painful radiating/radicular complaints. The goal of this is to progress them to overpressure in a full press up in the modified hips offset position. Hopefully by the end of the session, the patient will be able to perform SGIS against the wall or a similar WB reset for their high dosage Recovery Plan. Hope this helps!
