Manual Therapy - Neurodynamic Progressions for Tennis Elbow
A progression for tendinopathies or chronic extremity pain is to combine joint mobilizations with neurodynamic techniques. Around visit 3-4, or when they are still symptomatic but the neurodynamic test is no longer painful, you can further load/stimulate the nervous system but placing the patient in neural load and performing joint mobilizations, or specific oscillations at different joints to treat the neural container. In this example, the PT had chronic lateral epicondylalgia. I am demonstrating a variation on radial neurodynamic where I am mobilization the radial head but under neural load, as opposed to the standard resting position. Hope this helps!
