I don't do dry needling and it's not just because I'm in NY. While I have trained in it and used it for a bit, and taught it in PT Schools, I was never convinced it was better than a non invasive and PAIN FREE variant of treating tenderness and hypertonicity. In this video, I'm treating a Physio with upper trap tenderness that she frequently likes to rub out aggressively. By slacking her upper trap, the tenderness was eliminated plus her ulnar neurodynamic test was now pain free with full motion. This is an easy, fast, pain free way to improve upper trap tension, cervical and scapular/shoulder mobility and help with cervicogenic headaches.
