Manual Therapy for Unilateral Headaches

This is a variation on one of my favorite techniques the subcranial shear distraction or as it's affectionately called the "skull crusher." - Just don't document that! In this variation, if cervical retraction and SB are equal, and there are unilateral headaches, plus the ipsilateral OA is stiffer, you add medial shear to the symptomatic side plus nod them to the same side of pain. For a self reset, the patient can nod to the same side of pain hourly until Sx are centralized, then they can progress to retractions and overpressure. Are you a patient in need of my help?
