If sidegliding in standing isn’t tolerated well here are some variations and progressions. Alternatively, once SGIS is equal you can further progress by strengthening the side that was shifted away from
🔵prone shift corrections - have them walk their upper body over with their forearms, then lightly shift further into the correction with pressure on/off
🔵theraball sideglides in sitting
🔵unilateral farmer’s carries - heavy weight held on the side shifted to - i.e. shifted R, hold weight on R
🔵weighted sidebending - further strengthen into the range needed to overcorrect the lumbar lateral shift
