The cervical retraction and sidebending with overpressure is a great reset for many upper quarter dysfunctions. If a patient is compliant with their dosage, their contralateral upper trap/levator scapula may get sore from repeated stretching. This is a great Clinical Pearl from Ryan Foley to modify the program and still get ipsilateral loading to the involved side cervical spine.
