One of the more interesting findings since I got my Activforce 2 Handheld dynamometer is testing end range strength after restoring it with manual therapy or some type of reset. I restored the PT's left shoulder ROM with some cervical resets in this example.I now differentiate between Passive End Range Loading as a Reset, and Active End Range Loading as a Stabilization or Strengthening phase. What you'll find even with a manual muscle test is that testing the end range of newly restored shoulder ROM, cervical rotation etc will test weaker. Incorporating active and strengthening strategies in the new range only makes sense to "groove" the new motion. Get an Activforce 2 at EDGE Mobility System https://modmt.com/af2
